Just wondering if anyone out there knows how effective the buffalo bore anti personnel std pressure low flash ammo would be a good round to deer hunt with out of a Henry in 45 LC. Thoughts/suggestions?

Well, there's a lot of other factors that I'd consider before making a definite statement one way or the other. So, yes and no.

This stuff will work; 45 Colt ANTI-PERSONNEL Std. Pressure Low Flash - 225 gr. Soft Cast Hollow Nose @ 1050 fps. Although I believe there are better choices.

I wouldn't use this stuff; 45 Colt ANTI-PERSONNEL Std. Pressure Low Flash - 225 gr. Hard Cast Wadcutter @ 1050 fps.

This stuff would be better; 45 COLT +P DEER GRENADE 260 gr. Medium Cast HP-GC 1,500 fps, especially out of a carbine.

I fired a few rounds of the +P stuff from my Ruger BH Bisley to see how accurate it was from my gun. I don't usually hunt with a handgun, but would have no qualms about using that gun/load combo at reasonable ranges on any deer.
