hi , I was just given a 5 gallon pail of 158 gr round nose bullets, can someone recommend a good load , I have IMR 700x , Unique, 231 and 2400 powder on hand , many thanks :-B-:

I've used 6.5 gr of Unique for that 158 lead bullet for a long time. It's a comfortable load and is still strong enough to train/practice in a .357 revolver.

I use a light dose of Clays for a plinking and target load. It shoots in the 650 to 700 f/s range, so I would think any mild load of either 700X or 231 would do as well.
