Got my newly purchased S&W .357 65-8 out to the range today.

I’m extremely happy with the purchase. This gun was really tame and accurate with FMJ .38 special. When I switched up to HP .357 mag cartridges the fun really began. Once I took a few breaths and tightened up my grip this thing was on the money firing single or double action.

I think this piece is going to be a go to for years to come!

Congrats on your new firearm! I love snub nose 357 Magnum revolvers. I like the .357 cartridge in general - SIG or Magnum. The use of two calibers in the revolver if one wants, the curves of the revolver fit the body...well for us older folks with weight :), easy to hide n carry, and no bulky or long magazines.... speed strips or speed loaders - in a speed loader holster / carry rig are great imo.

Still, one needs to practice with these an I see some strange new found love popping up for these revolvers, might be just me seeing this.
