Took second place out of 30 some odd people out of this year’s 22 league. Held my own but could have done better on the accuracy events. The event that was part accuracy and part speed I took second and the event that was pure speed I won. The one with the stop sign is the spare parts abomination that I used all year and the other is what I won. Competitive shooting is a waste of money, unless you do well.

As long as it shoots accurately, what is was built from is irrelevant. Good job.

Unfortunately the best I could get at 50yds was 1.5-2 inches. A bunch of the others were under an inch. I think if it was a bit more accurate I would have had first place.

The one I won is based of the 10-22. The one I completed with was a standard 223 ar made from left over parts that I ran a CMMG 22lr conversion kit in.

Take a look at the Savage A models with the heavy barrel. Especially if you bed it, I have shot mine under moa at 100. It is more accurate with a better trigger than any of my friends 10/22s. And the price is not terrible.
I bedded mine with some Steal Putty and JB Weld. Works great.

Well done!

I didn't do the indoor league this winter. My closest club could not fine a certified instructor. My other club had their league. But i have to go up the mountain. And with the snow i didn't want to chance it. I should have. We didn't get much snow. We had a mild winter. PS i like '' global warming''.
