Looking to buy a quality holster for a S.A. 1911, Micro Compact. Presently checking out Tucker.
I had a VERY BAD experience with K & D holsters (details by private PM) so not them!
Any other recommendations?
Thanks

Suggest you talk to our forum sponsor Travis at the holster store to see if he has something that will work for you. His pricing is very reasonable.

I have the same gun. I wanted a Milt Sparks versa max 2, but didn't want to wait 6 mos. so I tried a Don Hulme holster through Gunners Alley. I got the "IWB" cocked and locked with a thumb break and it fits very well. I also got the OWB and I don't like it as well. Something about the thumb break strap just isn't perfect. I thought the Springfield would be a little heavy to carry, but I wore it around the house and soon forgot I had it on.
Reasonable price, I believe Don Hulme no longer makes a "Hammer Down" version (at least that's what I was told), but the strap of the "cocked and locked" version is under the hammer, so it seems perfect.
