‘A Terrible Governor’: Trump Torches Puerto Rico’s Governor Amid Leaked Private Message Scandalhttps://ijr.com/trump-blasts-puerto-rico-governor/?utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=74917219&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8ZCowaNy2OGuiUiiAyZcPJcqGxnfkzUNQLNCcimNEZX8JwraKj HOz5Rx72VeNf_1cVMaCS95ESFalwkTuy3g8S4ESHSg&_hsmi=74917219

President Donald Trump fired off against the governor of Puerto Rico while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office after the latter refused to step down amid a scandal involving leaked messages.
One day after Governor Ricardo Roselló’s (D-P.R.) announcement that he would not be pursuing reelection amidst a scandal revolving leaked private messages, the president blasted the embattled governor as “terrible.” He also torched San Juan Mayor Yulín Cruz (D-P.R.) as “horrible,” adding to their months-long feud.
“[Roselló is] a terrible governor,” Trump said on Monday. “I think you have an even worse mayor of San Juan. She’s horrible.”
The president continued on to roast Roselló as being “not good” and claiming that Congress left the $92 billion in “hurricane relief” in the “hands of incompetent people.”
“The governor is not good. The United States Congress — you won’t believe this, please close your ears — gave Puerto Rico $92 billion last year for hurricane relief. […] The Congress of the United States handed them $92 billion, and that $92 billion is in the hands of incompetent people. And very corrupt people"

The leaked messages revealed that Roselló made disparaging comments about political opponents, women, and victims of Hurricane Maria, a Category 5 storm that ravaged the territory in 2017.
In one of the almost 900 messages published by Puerto Rico’s Center for Investigative Journalism, Roselló referred to a Puerto Rican New York politician as a “w***e” while calling another politician a “daughter of a b***h.”
Even in the face of resignation calls and protests, the Puerto Rican governor has refused to step down. However, he did vacate his seat as the head of his party pushing for Puerto Rican statehood.
As IJR News previously reported, several U.S. lawmakers have called on Roselló to resign.
Freshman firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) demanded that the Puerto Rican governor resign, saying that the U.S. “must stand with la isla.”

Someone needs to severely spank that child and send her to her room for a lengthy time-out.

Hopefully her constituents will do that at the next election.
But being she is from NYC I have doubts that they are intelligent enough to do that
Well all I can say is that someone stopped one contractor from doing a low bid job on the power grid and it still isn't completed And when I saw that the Military and no one else distributing supplies from the docking area and people having to go there to get SOME supplies and not enough to last more than a day or two. So where did the 92 BILLION dollars go?

Go ask the Clinton's. They were real good at making money disappear in Haiti.

They eat their own.

Take note, NRA haters.
