    Default "likes"?

Is there a way to let a poster know you appreciated or agreed with his post? Some forums have a 'like' button to show appreciation of a post. I can't find that here.

Also, I don't see where to 'log off'. I just close the forum and apparently it logs me off after a certain length of time.

Put your cursor in the post body and look in the lower right corner. "Like" should be there. Click on it.

Also you can add or delete 'reputation' from a poster by clicking on the subdued six pointed star located at the far right of the 'Edit Post//Reply/Reply With Quote' block.

Okay. I see the 'like' button now. But tell me more about this 'reputation' thing. If someone posts a bad reputation to me I can delete it? Who sees these reputation comments and where can they be seen? Also, how long has this forum been in existence? And where is "log off"?

Dunno about log off. I don't recall ever doing it.

The reputation system puts the little green (or red) boxes under your moniker. It takes many positives to add a box.

Once reputation is added (or deleted) it there. So far as I know, it cannot be undone.

You can view your recent reputation history and comments by going to "Settings" and scrolling down. Only you can see reputation comments made about your posts. There is a minimum post count necessary before reputation points given count (add to the boxes under your moniker). I do not know the minimum number.

I believe this board began in June of 2007. We've experienced one ownership change (maybe two).
