With the one small sight at the front, the speed of loading and the delay of the shot from when you pull the trigger to actual firing it's amazing they didn't starve to death or hit anyone in battle back then.

Went out again on Monday, trying to do as many outings as i can handle before i have my surgery. I was going to go again today but it took me all of Monday night, all of Tuesday to semi recover. Still in quite a bit of pain so I'll shoot for tomorrow. Anyway i brought out the Rossi revolving rifle, one AR, the carry Shield and Ruger .357 blackhawk. Just set up some steel at 8 or 9 yards and 25 yards along with a paper target for the AR just past 25 yds so it wouldn't get splatter.

First target to start sighting it in, that's 10 rounds,

Then just playing around shooting as fast as i can. It's not a semi rifle being you have to close the bolt after each shot. it goes pretty fast though with a "bad lever" and the 1-1.5lb JARD trigger it shoots pretty good.

Using reloads, 55 gr bullet and W748.
