Well i got my new trigger spring for the Hi Power. I could immediately tell the front curve of the spring was way different and after installing it the trigger feels so much different. Still have to range test it but I'm thinking it will be cured. Thanks popeye!

Went out today for a short period but now I;m paying for it. Can't wait to see the surgeon Thursday!! Anyway i brought out the .577 snider. Last year i loaded up some rounds using some .58 cal muzzle loader projectiles i had laying around to see if they would work. Pretty much all over the place so i won't be loading those anymore. It's supposed to use a minieball type bullet so I'll stick with those from now on. Put about 60 rounds of 45 colt through the raging bull and a few mags through the Hi Power to check out the repair. Trigger works great now but I'm still hanging up the last round with the original mag but the new mag worked fine. I'll have to get a couple more and retire the old mag.

The Snider, like the 577/450 Martini, gets a mite frisky under a full load. The British Army field manual even points of the thumb placement on the receiver on the 577/450 is intended to prevent damage to the shooters nose.
Glad the rest of the day went well for you. A bad day at the range is better than the best day at work.

Not sure if they were full loads or not, I'll have to check. I think it might be 70gr of 2f. I'm pretty sure it was more the bullets than anything because the first time i shot it i hit the gong at 200 yds within a couple of shots and couldn't even hit it once at 100yds yesterday.......which is why there is no video evidence!.
