Hadn’t thought about the capitalist aspect of it all. But thanks to you all, I have a much greater understanding of the twist concept. Thanks again.

    Barrel length and twist rate:

You can never know too much or too little.
    Gas systems here:

Plenty of chambers made in 223Wylde these days to mitigate the theories of .223Rem in 5.56 NATO chambers and vice verse.

Can be confusing to most even if you're a rifleman, hand-loader, or ballistics expert.
The most important thing is to hit your target or don't even bother to take aim and waste ammo.
For the purpose intended is what I would go by. So far I like the 16" with 1/9 twist and carbine length gas for most of my practical purposes or intended uses. Has not failed me yet. I do like going with 5.56x45 up to 62gr but the 55gr and .223Rem 55gr FMJs work very well on armadillos at a distance. Not real good for up close.
Generally you go with what you know. Change anything and you're back to square one or on your own.
Always do your best with the information given. The only one you can ever blame for a miss is yourself. You're in command of your rifle.

Thank you Ram Rod. Someone told me recently that if I want to be accurate, then get myself to the range and practice; in other words. You’re another confirmation. Thanks man.

Hello Rivervalley0311. I just read the discourse between you and Siplace and I’m learning from you both. I have a question. I have an ar15 5.56 with a 1:7 twist rate; what grain bullet will be good for long shots with this one?

I have an 18" bull barrel in 1:7 that is .5 MOA out to 300 yards with 50 grain .223 game ammo.

No discourse between Siplace and myself that I'm aware of?

A 1-7 twist will handle the 90-95gr pills...but you will never get those to shoot well out of a normal AR platform due to mag restrictions and the amount of freebore (lack of) in the chamber.......For the longer distance stuff I'd try the 77gr offerings like the Sierra Match King's.

Hello Siplace. I just want to thank you for sharing that site with me. I checked it out, saw exactly what I was looking for (which I couldn’t find elsewhere), ordered it and it shipped within two days. I picked it up yesterday. Thank you again. I think I shared that I got my money taken from a company (hardened arms) along with other people, but thanks to you I got what I was looking for, and my credit card company replaced the money and is investigating the crooked company. Thanks again Siplace.
