I ordered 2 belts, 2 tone. One for .22’s and one for .45’s.

Hope I ordered the right size. I wear a 34” jean so I ordered a 38” belt. Should be a couple inches of adjustment either direction.

Yeah you definitely have to order bigger than your waist by about 4 inches.

Got to take the new .45 home this evening. Got to say I’m a little disappointed in Ruger. There is a spot on the barrel the size of a fingerprint where the satin finish was rubbed away from being transported in that cheap plastic case it came in. I also cut my finger on it the other day when looking it I’ve. I noticed today that there is a really sharp burr on the frame right in the cylinder cutout. I’ll have to file it down later.

It’s a Ruger, not a Colt.they are built like a tank and will last longer, be safer and always work. What little minor refine, ents you feel you need to do is just part of becoming familiar with these beautiful pieces of craftsmanship. Being that they are stainless, almost any finish blemishes can be polished out. You’re going to love them. I have to admit I’m a bit jealous.

One bucket list item checked off the list. Always wanted a set. All bs aside I like em just fine. The belt for these showed up today the wrong color so it’s gotta go back. I picked up a case of Winchester.45 ACP for cheap plinking rounds. That ought to last a little while. Think I have about 800 rds I can shoot with these, Colt and ACP together. Those convertible cylinders are worth their weight. That 1 case saved $150 over a case of .45LC.

Last time I ordered 45 Colt loads I got reloads from Lax ammo. They were real nice and the price was so good I bought 300.

I am paying $0.58 rd before tax for amscor .45lc and $0.30 rd for Winchester .45 ACP service loads. Both local both are new ammo, not reloads. I’ll soon have a room I could reload in. I’ll have to look into the quipment. I suspect 30/30 reloading alone would offset the cost.
