Default AUSTIN! You Have A Proble. Like All Sanctuary Cities; "Know Yer Rights, Illegals"

This is too lengthy to copy. But the article is appropriate to the title and the photos are "el primo". Notice the "supporters" in one particular photo, Texas state senators and clergy. A photo caption: "Texas Sen. Sylvia Garcia, D-Houston, center, and Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr., D-Brownsville, right, join clergy and other supporters at a prayer rally for immigrants on the steps of the Texas Capitol on Feb. 28. Faith leaders and activists gathered to pray that a love of neighbor would guide and shape Texas".

Not a great deal of sympathy in the Comments that follow the article.

The migrating and fleeing libtards from commiefornia have settled not just in key sections of CO. and others, even God's chosen state is not immune from providing locations for these carriers of dung mentality to "lite" and scratch their hind legs. Fortunately, our Governor has been one of the first to withhold funds from law ignoring counties.

Yeah, the media have a problem, too. 23 + 28 = 51. 100% criminals, they have to write their way around that.

According to federal immigration documents obtained by the Austin American-Statesman, just 23 of the 51 people picked up in Operation Cross Check, as ICE referred to the sweeps, had criminal convictions. Of them, nine had been convicted of drunk driving, two of assault and two of sexual offenses involving children. The remaining 10 included individuals who had been convicted on charges including marijuana possession, obstructing police or drug trafficking, according to the Statesman.

But 28 of those arrested — roughly 55 percent — had no criminal record and were simply detained for being in the country illegally.

I know. It's hard to have to realize that these "libtards" are actually "homegrown" in the Lone Star State. Again consider. Why would these "libtards", having created their Nirvana in Kalifornia, voluntarily journey to another state to begin all over again? They like and even love what they think they have here. Why go anywhere else, especially Texas?

There is so much wrong with Austin that one article could not begin to cover it.

For a lot of years every "exchange student" that walked up to my house was going to "Who-stone", so it's no surprise they are well represented there. Also, if anyone would like to visit Mexico without having to actually go there, just drive along the Rio Grande on the Texas side.

This has got to be the most asinine statement of the entire article. Someone who doesn't have a criminal record shouldn't be detained because they did something illegal??? [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

BTW, I hate when lawyers ask for leniency because it was "their client's first offense" ......... NO, it was the first time they were caught!

In the last 30 years, folks migrating from California have turned Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and, almost, Arizona from red to blue. DO NOT think it can't happen to Texas. The cancer is already there... and growing.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]Well, Eric and Barack are going to change all that with that anti gerrymandering quest. I'm all in on that too! Take a look at congressional district 15 where I live. It's about as gerrymandered for DemocRat Hispanics as can be.

I think that map was from 2008 but basically it is the same as now.
