Default Has McConnell yielded control of the Senate to the new Speaker of the Senate, Pelosi?

Of course he has. I have hated the Republicans since 1988 - and probably should have even sooner - because the Republicans fail to lead even when in charge. When the Democrats have the majority, the Democrats lead. When the Republicans have the majority, the Democrats lead. Now when the Democrats control the House, the House controls the Senate.

McConnell has given control of the Senate over to Nancy Pelosi, allowing her to exercise power and authority she does not have. Nothing in the Constitution says the House must deliver, in some stupid wooden box procession, articles of impeachment to the Senate. Those rules are House rules and the Senate is not bound by any House rule. The approved articles of impeachment are in the Congressional Record and available to anyone, including Mitch McConnell and the Senate. All McConnell needs to do is simply hold the trial. Instead, swamp-monster that he is, McConnell has bowed to Pelosi and is now considering having witnesses in the trial.

Pelosi is the defacto president of the United States right now. Trump surrenders to the Democrats, McConnell surrenders to the Democrats. In effect, the Democrats are controlling both houses of Congress and all branches of government.

I hate Republicans. I really do.

As has been pointed out in other threads,
There is not time limit for the House to deliver to the Senate.
There is no requirement for the Senate to force the House to deliver or to act until they do.
Posturing by Pelosi is all it is. No matter what anyone says about her, she knows what the possible costs of delivering them to the Senate. Especially if the is an impartial trial in the Senate. She is playing the only card she has left to avert a possible disaster that the rest of the House Dems are setting them up for.

Of course not; I am one. Most Republicans are not conservative. It's not a big stretch to say that no conservative is a Republican, even if they register to vote in Republican parties or vote for Republicans. A conservative cannot claim to be one with the likes of Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, etc.

What if she's holding out to see if the Democrats take the Senate in 2020? If they do, even if the Republicans also take the house, all that Pelosi would need to do is to deliver the impeachment finding on January 2, 2021. The outgoing House would provide it, in effect, to the incoming Senate. The Clinton impeachment was similar. The impeachment was in the 105th Congress and the trial in the 106th Congress.

I think most of the right, including House and Senate, Trump himself, talking heads on Fox and most others are completely underestimating Pelosi's intent. She's not just making a stupid mistake; she's got a plan, a very, very, devious one.

Might this devious plan include forcing a vote in the Senate, after calling in influence(i.e."markers") over 6 or 8 Republican Senators?

As it stands right now, one might suppose that pelosi and the democrats LIKE Trump, if they don't get the impeachment ratified by the Senate, doesn't the
Constitution rule that Trump's first four year session as President is wiped clean, paving the way for 8 MORE YEARS, for Trump, as president ?

Maybe I misread a line or two, there...

Irrespective of there being a certain amount of truth to this; the general tenor of your approach "rankles my hackles".
