What else is there to say?
Back and forth discourse is something any/every firearm owner should enjoy, because if firearm owners are silent that is the same as appeasement and/or acceptance to the Left.

Is disagreement seen as abrasiveness on here or is it that bluntness is disliked, maybe there are gun control advocates on here?

No one here is being silent and you are instigating something that doesn't exist in an attempted to cause disruption to this forum.

Your attempt to cloud your disrespect with angled verbiage and iron fist is poor at best. It's highly noticed.

You've constantly griped and whined about the folks here and how this forum is ran so I simply do not understand why you are still here if you do not like it.

Oh yes, to be disruptive. Got it.
    Have fun.

I am blunt, I say (type) what I mean. I don't hide it behind anything, and that you assume that is telling. I believe the worst word I've used on here is Fudd.

No personal insults, no attack, no trolling, just discussion that is not 'in line,' with others.

Oddly enough I have been personally attacked more than any attack I have been doing, all because I am not in line with the "Common Sense Gun Control," vibe which seems to be here.

You've constantly griped and whined about the folks here and how this forum is ran so I simply do not understand why you are still here if you do not like it.
Did I state I did not like it? Can you find that quote for me?

I was responding to a moderator who made the assumption my goal was disruption, it is not. It is back and forth discussion, unfortunately some on here seem to think that if a statement is not worded perfectly and eloquently, or if the statement is not phrased in PC terms, it is somehow meant to be disruptive.

As I stated above, what I have discovered is that speaking in generalities, and in ways to not hurt someone's feelings (this is different from being respectful, and a rational adult does know the difference) is quite often assumed as being acceptance of the issue, even if that is not the intended case.

Now I only have around two-dozen posts, could you go ahead and identify my attempt at trolling, or personal attacks? I can wait on the cited sources if you are going to fling those accusations around. If my goal was to be disruptive I could have easily created a few dozen fake accounts and spammed this forum, and other threads to cause disruption and/or a denial of service; I have not and will not do that.

You raise some valid points. Your way of raising these points guarantees they will be dismissed out of hand. Bludgeoning people with your opinions rarely gains allies.

The chip on your shoulder seems to grow larger by the hour. It seems you registered here to start fights, not to convince anyone your way of thinking is superior to any other.

Here it is hoss, straight, plain and simple. Act like an asshole and expect to be treated as an asshole. Don't complain about it. You brought it on yourself.

    Moderate yourself or be moderated.

" all because I am not in line with the "Common Sense Gun Control," vibe which seems to be here."

I think you might be confusing this forum with another. I don't think anyone here fits that description.

You know that little thing inside your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, I don't have one of those.

How to piss off a conservative, lie to them. How to piss off a liberal, tell them the truth.

"It's one thing to disagree. Another to be disagreeable."

Or is it ....... "Look at ME! Look at ME! Fer gawdz sake, Look at ME! ?

It's reminding me of another fine forum that had one, then two, then 14 "religious refugees" arrive and declare their joy and relief at "having finally found a forum where their religious beliefs would not be criticized, which was quite an assumption on their part. The difference is these Mooks are cuttin' to the chase right off the bat. The Mods tried to reign in the "disrupters" but the site owner was, you know......... a little funny in his head and didn't back the Mod's. And that was that, as is said.

Indeed. Time will tell. I'll check in at times to see how this plays out.

Like I said elsewhere, you can be blunt without being abrasive.

So here's blunt: You have no clue how to gain consensus. Only to abrade. That is why you are criticized here. As Popeye mentioned, you have some valid positions and opinions. How you talk about them is not blunt, it is abrasive.

And as an adult, you should know that without me and other moderators having to lecture you like a little kid.

Carry on if you will. You're so offensive, it's unlikely you'll get any real support except maybe in a rare moment here and there.

Or was that too blunt? And abrasive?
