The thought has crossed my mind through the years, walking in the dark to my stand. Thinking about any creature that might be lurking, but we don't have anything but bobcats around here................as far as I know.

There are mountain lions in NY but Encon refuses to acknowledge it. I seen one several years ago on a dirt road that goes 17 miles back in the woods between tupper lake and long lake. I started looking online and there is a large cluster of sightings in that area. There was also many sightings of them further south near the Catskill mountains. If you contact NY and tell them you seen one they assure you it was just a bob cat which is pretty much a joke.

You know that little thing inside your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, I don't have one of those.

I grew up in Vestal, NY. When I was about 12, I was walking through a field to meet a friend. There was a ravine with a creek, and I heard a horrifying scream coming from the ravine. The guy I was meeting was kinda nuts, so I figured it was him. I went to the edge of the ravine, and a local farmer had dumped some cow guts down there, and there was a black panther tearing into those guts. It looked up at me, and turned and ran into the woods. I know that's what it was. No one believed me, and always told me they weren't around there. I know what I saw.

Came down to the Kernville camp spot to hang with pops. He brought some old school pics so I took pics...

    Grandpa on dad's side.

Mom and dad before they were married.

Dad (right) and god-father being pretty tanked

My first motorcycle ride. (For the life of me I can't get the pic to behave and flip)

And I have no clue what's going on here. Dad and mom in middle and on the right, friend's wife on the left. Lots of friends always having a good time.
