I have A Samsung Note 4 smart phone that takes great photos, But " It " takes the shot, not me...when you are spoiled by great cameras, That will jump through hoops for you, a Smartphone is not what you are use too. For people who are not photographers.. a smart phone blows them away. When I compose a shot with one of my real cameras, there is no shutter lag.... when I compose a shot with the smartphone.. the shutter lag is horrible... it takes the shot 2 seconds after I push the button. But the exposure, resolution, and sharpness is extremely good.

Yessir...people are amazed that as soon as I turn it on, the D90 is on. A great quote I heard and have used when asked why I needed such a "good" camera, I said that "Good equipment gets out of your way and lets you accomplish what you set out to do."

Example, one morning all I had was one of those Fuji cameras and I wanted to get a shot of the sunrise. It was glorious. I kept having to set and reset the camera so as not to blow the sky out, wheras all I would have had to do with the D90 is point compose and shoot. 2 seconds. FYI, I usually keep it set on Aperture priority.

I just wish I could figure out how to insert those large frame pics on the forum like post# 91 instead of those small ones the viewer has to click on and then they get just a little bigger.

Between miketx and ET with their photos we should get even more good pics on here.

Well the way I do it, I use a photo hosting service called photobucket and it's free. Upload some of your pictures there. After that you click on the image and it allows you to copy the URL of the image. If it doesn't do it for you, place that URL between this: [img] URL[/img} and post it.

I use the professional level of SmugMug as My host... I have unlimited uploads and unlimited video... costs me 60 dollars a year, but I have many options.. I have 80,000 photos and video securely embedded on that host sight. I can grab a shot of almost any situation or topic I have captured and post it in any forum on line with the click of the mouse.. I also have this on my smartphone, and can even print a photo, remotely to one of my photo printers at my house even if I'm 3 thousand miles away.
This is what a good camera can get you. This is a shot on the street, it's not nude or vulgar.. she was just standing there looking at a window display. If this is inappropriate, I apologize.. just pointing out that photography can be fun. BTW that bag she is carrying is from Victoria's Secret's.. Wonder what is in there. Hopefully it is panties , which she obviously needs.

^^^ on a professional level it has lots of good points nothing can happen to your pictures and that alone is worth the price
