Default Up coming DR visit orders.

Docs office called to remind me of my appt. But with arrival instructions. When i get there. I have to call them from my car. And then stay in my car until they call me to come in the office. Doc does not want more than 2 people in the waiting room at a time. Also to come by myself. They sure are really taking precautions. Anyone else have similar orders from their health appts?

I have an appt with my bone doctor in a week or so, if they don't postpone it, I will. My next appt with my primary care dr is a couple months out, the crisis may be over by then, we'll see.

I postponed my semi annual CT Scan, labs and doc visit from April 1st to the middle of May. My wife changed her appt too. Routine stuff can wait as far as we are concerned. The oncologist does not like me slipping appointments much, but he will get over it.

I went to my doctor just as this was starting to get bad and they didn't do that but i hear many in the area are following similar protocols now. After my doctor visit i had to go for a ultrasound of my leg about a week later and wished they did do that. Waiting room was crowded but mostly because they had half of their staff stay home.

I have a wellness check next Monday with my primary. I spoke with his office today and he will be doing the appointment via teleconference.
I had a cardiologist checkup scheduled for this morning. Her office called yesterday and rescheduled out to June.

Medical facilities here are cancelling appointments and turning people away unless it's for an immediate serious medical issue. Some will only see patients if it is life-threatening.

My wife is ill. DIfficulty breathing, cough, fatigue that has been going on for months (heart cindition since December). She got pretty bad yesterday and I was about to take her to immediate care but my son said I should call first. She called and said they were not seeing people but to go online and do a virtual virus screen; thinking we needed to do that first. We did it and she screens negative. We ask if we can go to clinic and was told no, call the primary. She got off the phone an hour ago and they would not make an appointment. The doctor will call her this afternoon - phone call appointment!

She does nto have the virus but does have symptoms that could be related to heart and or lungs. We cannot go to the doctor. Her work said she needed to bring in a note from the doctor for today's call in but canot see the doc!

We live in the USA. We cannot see a doctor!
