I’m a fan of Monty Python. Life of Brian kills me every time I see it.

King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I am your king.

Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

    Arthur: Be quiet!

Dennis the Peasant: You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!”

The local library had the entire Flying Circus series on DVD when I was in high school, I watched all of it at least twice. I finally saw Life of Brian 4 years ago, and it's been one of my favorite movies since. Mr Jones will be missed.

The whole Monty Python crew were wonderful! I kind of wonder if that cool "tongue-in-cheek" humor would still be as well received by contemporary politicized and jaded audiences. Just wondering.
