Sorry, while PG&E may have been nthe cause of the START of the fire; it was the State and enviro whackos not allowing proper forest management to be done that killed those folks - and the same in Napa/Sonoma

I would have bet money this story was from the onion....
"An armed man is a free man. An unarmed man is a fool. A disarmed man is a slave."
A bad day shooting is better than a good day at work.

You know that little thing inside your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, I don't have one of those.

How to piss off a conservative, lie to them. How to piss off a liberal, tell them the truth.

    You can't fix democrat.

It seems that almost every news story coming out of California is Onion worthy.

Onion stories tend to be believable, even when they're not true; CA news stories tend to be not believable, even when they are true. Personally, i find them both to be funny.

    Wonderful! Just effing wonderful!

Now, instead of blowing up people or incinerating people, PG&E has invented the business of endangering the lives of people who rely on medical devices (run by electricity) to stay alive. All in the name of profits.

Yup. And my travelling at 100 mph on my motorcycle wasn't the cause of the crash that cost me my life. The unrepaired pothole I hit is at fault.

So, PG&E is responsible for clearing all of the underbrush in the entire Sierra Nevada mountains, at least according to you. YOUR state government failed in their responsibility, and they will fail again this summer when the fires claim more lives.

I was watching an old JW western filmed in the thirties probably at Paramount ranch. In a chase scene you can see the smoke clouds in the background of a wild fire. Seems they been around a long time and people make them more deadly.

Since the land in question is government land, who should be responsible for it? Since they have the department and jobs, why not do them?

It seems like PG&E would be responsible for maintaining the easement wherever their power lines reside, and the State of California would be responsible for maintaining state owned forest lands, parks, and wildlife areas.

The events over the past year or two, dictate that both PG&E and the State of California have failed miserably in their responsibilities. Whereas, the customers of PG&E and citizens of California have paid dearly for the failures of those, that are suppose to serve them.
