That magazine threw me off. Most Enfields that I see with that style of magazine are Indian reworked rifles that have been rebarreled and rechambered at Ishapore for 7.62 Nato/.308 Win.
Common misinformation. The Ishapore 7.62 2A/2A1 Enfields were never "converted" to 7.62 NATO. They were built in that caliber--starting in 1962. Same basic
design as a Mk III, but built with better steel to handle the pressures of the 7.62 cartridge. Fun fact---the buttplate on the Ishapore 2A's is from the Ishapore
built FAL.
I still haven't got the hang of this.
Uhhhhh....yes was about the screwdrivers.
The only thing that didn't come with the gun was the magazine. I ordered it.

Hollow ground screwdrivers/bits are a big help working with firearms to minimize marred/damaged screws. The shape helps apply torque to the screw without trying to push out of the slot as your Craftsman tool will. I offer this as a suggestion, not trying to criticize. Sorry if I came across wrong. Affordable hollow ground screwdrivers are available through Chapman industries or Wheeler and others.
Again, nice rifle!
I have a #5 Jungle Carbine that was given to me by a relative, it was missing the original magazine when I got it. A friend of mine just happened to have an old #4 magazine with a broken spring that had been taking up space on his workbench for years. I found a replacement spring from Numrich and repaired the magazine.
