    Default Late bloomer new shooter

Coming up on 45 and figured it was time to finally bite the bullet. Haven't really done any shooting since doing some hunting as a kid. Hope to be able to do some fun hunting trips by the end of the year. I have a few friends who are avid hunters. Can't wait to get out of the house and office humdrum and into the woods.

Ha, yeah I want to avoid that. I'm also an Atlanta local.

Went through gun safety course when I got my ccp. Also watched countless hours of range safety and weapon handling videos. I'll tackle hunting next.

I didn't realize we were neighbors till you said something. You're near [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ever been to either? The NRA is currently in turmoil or transition but it's still viable and I recommend membership. In GA I also recommend joining either [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I'm a member of both. Memberships can seem expensive but it's a bargain compared to losing your gun rights.

Did you make it to the big gunshow last weekend on the southside? I suspect our paths may cross we may even meet down the road.
