The American who shot and killed a black giraffe during a 2018 South African hunting trip described it as “delicious.”

On June 2, 2018, Breitbart News [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Tess Talley shot the black giraffe and then faced a major social media backlash.

Actress Debra Messing called Talley a ‘murderer,” among other things.

But Talley stood her ground and, on June 1, 2019, told [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] that she is still hunting and loves it. Moreover, she made clear she is particularly proud of the hunt in which she killed the black giraffe: “I am proud to hunt, and I am proud of that giraffe.”

Talley focused on the conservation hunting produces, as certain animals of a given species are culled to keep the population at the proper size for its habitat. CBS News asked Talley if she ever considered giving money to a wildlife conservation group, instead of actually hunting and shooting animals.

Talley responded by saying, “[I] would rather do what I love to do, rather than just give a lump sum of cash somewhere and not know particularly where that is going.”

Images of a Kentucky hunter posing with the body of a black giraffe she killed in South Africa have triggered an online backlash after going viral on social media.

Thousands of Twitter users expressed outrage at Tess Thompson Talley, 37, for killing the giraffe on a hunting trip last summer.

“Prayers for my once-in-a-lifetime dream hunt came true today! Spotted this rare black giraffe bull and stalked him for quite awhile,” Talley wrote in a since-deleted post on Facebook, according to USA Today.

Did she break any laws? If not I don't care, anybody that does should stop wearing clothing made from dead animals, and become a vegan.

If it had been illegal to shoot that animal you can bet the PH would never allowed. Along with losing his license he and she would have spent many years in a South African prison. They are very hard on poachers in all the African countries.
If she is smart she will post a comment requesting that the whiners. "Please advise me which of my bills you are paying. I will refund your payment and then you can go to hell."
