    Default Hornady LnL grease

I have no use for a grease gun except for this machine, so is there an alternative method for greasing/lubing it without having to buy a gun and tube of grease I might use 2-3 times per year for an ounce or two?

That's what I don't know. This machine has 3 zerk fittings so I do not know how I would get the grease into those areas.

Yeah most stuff nowadays in sealed so grease guns don't get that much use. Do you have a riding mower? Mine still has fittings on the front axle. Do you have a snowblower? Mine still has grease fittings on the bushings for the front blade. You may have something and not even know it. even with little use they are still handy to have around even if you get a mini. There is no way that i know of the grease a zerk fitting without one.

I do have a power washer; but question then - how well does the grease hold up in the tube if it sits for a while? Am I facing a similar thing like using super glue - you know, open the tube and you won't get a second use because it is all F%&*(d up

Oh the grease won't dry out. I use the large grease cartridges. They are in my grease gun for over a year. When i replace something that did not have a fitting i get a new one that has a fitting. Like ball joints for my vehicles.

Coal is right, it stays for a long time! I have had it in the tubes in my shed for several years before i emptied the tube and i have tubs of wheel bearing grease i have had for 30 years. As long as it's sealed up it will be fine.
