    See you got this all wrong. I didn't gave a grease gun until I brought the farm, which required a tractor with gadgets that had zert fittings requiring a grease gun, so just go buy a farm them you can use it on other things.

    Sounds logical to me. I have bought guns because i had some brass, ammo or dies for a caliber i didn't own. You've just taken it to another scale though.

    Yes like i did. When i bought my Savage 223. Kept finding brass. Couldn't see spending money on a mini 14. I have Ar 22's. So didn't really want another ar platform. So I settled on the bolt. And im happy i did.

    I've had a Hornady progressive press for about 30 years and never lubed it. I have put some oil on the ram at times.
    Maybe if you turned it into an ammo press at tried to crank out >100,000 rounds a year, you might need to lube it.
    Other than that, you need a grease gun or you need to completely disassemble the press...
