    Default Another "old gun"

Just getting around to cleaning it up right and inspecting... researching it.

Looks like an Indian built Ishapore Enfield Number4 that someone later sporterized.

Nice rifle! Do you really use those screwdrivers on your guns?

Yeah looks like a sporterized Enfield, perhaps a bit BUBBA.

That magazine threw me off. Most Enfields that I see with that style of magazine are Indian reworked rifles that have been rebarreled and rechambered at Ishapore for 7.62 Nato/.308 Win.

I still haven't got the hang of this.
    Uhhhhh....yes was about the screwdrivers.
The only thing that didn't come with the gun was the magazine. I ordered it.

I have a #5 Jungle Carbine that was given to me by a relative, it was missing the original magazine when I got it. A friend of mine just happened to have an old #4 magazine with a broken spring that had been taking up space on his workbench for years. I found a replacement spring from Numrich and repaired the magazine.
