I get the argument about how you present yourself, both sides of it.

The point about looking like a thug gangsta vs middle class joe vs a well organized professional.

Society has all types. Thatís what our society is. The only thing we all agree on is the importance of the 2nd amendment.

Supporting the second amendment, Iíll stand with second amendment supporters, regardless of how they dress. If they wear a mask, Iíll certainly be cautious around them. Free citizens exercising our constitutionally declared rights that are above the government. The right to assemble and speak out against the assault of the second constitutional right, the right to bear arms.

The one arrest I did hear about was possibly 22 ye old girl from antifa. Dressed in black, put on a face mask. Law enforcement told her thatís not allowed, remove it, she did it again, they told her again, the third time they arrested her.

So the good judgement of those who attended should be lauded. Law enforcement had no issues with our armed colleagues exercising their rights!

This protest was a public relations success. Letís see if the Virginia state government was listening to the citizens or not.. that my friends is tbd and will take some time.

So, who else here, (besides me) was there? Did anybody else from NGF attend ?

I'm a senior, from Florida, on blood thinners. One thing the media coverage doesn't illustrate is
it was cold. About 22 dergrees, with a stiff little 5-7 MPH breeze. I froze my cluster.

    My turn.

    You're wrong.

You can't control what other people do and as such, you can't sweat it. All you can do is control your response to it. You can't control the media, the guys who dress in tac gear and carry guns to a rally, the members of this forum. Expressing your opinion is fine, though. But here? In this forum you're partly preaching to the choir and partly antagonizing people who would support you in your 2A beliefs.

    Why bother? Kinda pointless, really.

If you think you can do something within your power, write some letters to congress critters and express yourself well. You do a good job on here. If you do it there, you'll be better off and you'll do a lot more good. Hopefully, you do that already, actually.

The real "good" effected by those dressing as Rambo-wannabe's is that they scare or infuriate the Nancy Pelosi's and all the other DEMOCRAT politico's across the nation. Other than that, it seems to be an exercise in adolescence. I'm glad they made a good showing for the DEMOCRATS and their communications branch, the MSM.

"............ Let’s see if the Virginia state government was listening to the citizens or not.. that my friends is tbd and will take some time."

Indeed. But considering that the fart-faced governor has no moral conscience and decided to remain "on the payroll" in spite of the "black face incident" which would have shamed a decent man into resigning, and the state itself has turned "Blue", and the legislators have the confidence of being recently elected/re-elected to their positions, and anti-gun legislation instantly became their "Cause", led by "fart-face", I don't think they are listening, or even would admit to watching. Like the legislators of Kalifornia and New York, they are detached from a near to an almost sure majority of the electorate.

And she got her wish, it’s a felony charge so she’ll never own a firearm now.

Ya, dude don't stop posting on this. Like wag said "you're partly preaching to the choir and partly antagonizing people who would support you in your 2A beliefs. " Hearing views helps everyone here and out there. My Views? Y'all nost don't want to hear mine so I'll give it a go - No one wants some fight no matter how bad, though if they - government - keeps pushing, I plead that its starts and finishes with me. So my family and future family wont have to deal with tyranny and not knowing Freedom and their Rights. Me a tough guy? No. Me young punk? No. Me some military guy? No. Me some whatever media says? No. Me just being an American? Yes - n that's one yes you can take to the bank.

They laid down their cards. We see their cards. Now its up to us to play our hand correctly and strategically. This not only goes for the 2nd Amendment though for other Rights as well. Yet, like all snakes they have something up their sleeve which we must watch for.

Fine, I’ll take the point from Wag. Just keep in mind that we are in the minority and there’s a lot of undecided who have a say in who’s in office. We need their votes for our cause. You’ll look like some ultra right wing radical militia group and not the ones the second amendment talks about.
I’ll be the reasonable looking and speaking guy who’s trying to change the average persons thinking about guns and not reinforcing it.
