You’re not winning the hearts and minds of anti-gunners by looking like some kind of mercenary walk in the streets with what they would consider to be very dangerous and scary weapons. Make no mistake this is a propaganda situation. Do you want to look like a gun nut that’s just the way to do it dress up in battle gear carry your A.R. 15 with 100 round drum magazine wearing helmets, it sends a bad image. When they do things like that it just lives up to the perception that many who are not necessarily For or against guns a bad image. Most of this battle will be fought in public relations and you have to act accordingly. When guys put on displays like this it does not help our cause or position it really truly hurts it.

Why such a defeatist attitude? I don't get it......How is that repression working for ya in NJ?

Exercising your 1st Amendment right for something you believe in is never wrong......even if you or I don't agree with it.

What these "mall ninjas" or "tac-tards" did was show America who the good guys really were.....No gun fights, no arrests nothing but polite self control. Today the left has to come up with a different story as to why the White Supremacist/Nazi/Racist rally didn't end in blood shed.

“A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent on others for essential, particularly for military, supplies.”

Join the 21st-century. In these days with Twitter, Facebook and the liberal media working against us and all the other social media outlets means that we have to do it better, cleaner, and smarter than they do. In essence we have to play the game the way they do by projecting an image that is not consistent with their belied styrotype. Why reinforce a stereotype the they believe in? If you’re the kind a guy who has the play soldier by dressing up and marching around, then there’s something wrong with you. Go ahead look like a yahoo and see how that works out for your public image.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

It ain't working, we've been doing it for years...the left owns the media...welcome to the 21st century.

I support all gun owners that want to express their 1st Amendment right as long as they do it respectfully and safely. Regardless of the garb they wear.

It’s ideas like that, that have us doomed. Walk into court in a pair of shorts and a wife beater tee and see how fast you are judge before you even say a word in you’re defense. You are on trial every time you stand up for your rights, make a statement or join a protest. Wear a black hoodie a put a bandana over your face and see what happens. You’ll be judged a Antifa thug even if you are the nicest most polite person anyone ever met. Prove me wrong.

On a day that was to honor a man who stood up amongst all adversity and said to not judge people by their color of their skin - the media, hollywood, and politicians were marching to their partys agenda. Who's racists? Who's pushing the race issue?

I've already proved you wrong. I'm sorry if you can't comprehend it......again I don't get it....why can't we as gun owners support one another instead trying to find fault, because it wasn't your idea or it didn't go exactly how you thought it should. What happened yesterday was awesome. I'm thankful for all the people that showed up and represented. YOU SHOULD BE YELLING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS. But instead you got sand in your panties about it.

You know what they say about throwing rocks in a glass house....From the looks of the gun laws in your state of New Jersey, it needed some more well dressed unarmed citizens. But that's just me speaking from a Constitutional carry state.

How much more gun law repression will it take before you are willing to a stand side by side with people of the same mind set regardless of how they are dressed?

The event was full of extremists!...................................

Don't Forget That Martin Luther King Jr. Was Once Denounced as an Extremist

As Monday’s observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day approaches, King’s “[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]” speech at the March on Washington is sure to be celebrated and replayed across the U.S. In today’s popular imagination, the March on Washington stands as one of the most American events of the 20th century—the power of U.S. democracy made real in the quarter of a million people who gathered on the National Mall and the majesty of King’s speech that August day.
At the time, however, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. In 1963, most Americans disapproved of the event, many congressmen saw it as potentially seditious, and law enforcement from local police to the FBI monitored it intensively (under code name Operation Steep Hill). Indeed, it was after King’s speech at the March on Washington that the FBI—with President Kennedy’s approval—decided to increase their monitoring of the civil rights leader. With the FBI [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] King as “demagogic” and “the most dangerous . . . to the Nation . . . from the standpoint . . . of national security,” Attorney General Robert Kennedy signed off on intrusive surveillance of his living quarters, offices, phones and hotel rooms, as well as those of his associates.......

And armed man is a free man, a disarmed man is a slave.
