Default Oppressive Gun Bills in the Oregon State Legislature

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Oregon's state legislature currently has three major gun control bills pending. Senate Bill 501 limits magazines/weapons to 5 round capacity, limits ammo purchases to 20 rounds/month, requires a background check for ammo, and more. Senate Bill 978 requires all firearms be double locked in the home and in transport (trigger or cable lock and in safe or lock box), makes gun owners liable for crimes committed weapons if they are stolen, makes it a felony to drive past a school or public building while carrying, and more. House Bill 3223 bans all "assault weapons". If you live in Oregon, you better contact your representatives and voice your concerns.

    In Liberty,
    Tom

NY has that limited ammo per month(forgot the amount but i think it was less than 50) and background checks but it has yet to be implemented. They thought the FBI would just do the background checks along with the guns and they told them to go pound sand, So now for the past few years we have been waiting for the computer system and room full people to do the checks. It's likely to never happen. I'm not saying don;t worry about it but there is so much to be put in place for them to enforce and regulate it. The politicians that write these laws are complete morons.

Yet, they are so successful in creating anxiety and misery in the lives of law-abiding people, many of who do not vote.

Throw it all against the wall and see what sticks. Open up with a shotgun on a ant hill and see if you hit any.

That's the media's job and of course I'd say 90% of it is liberal controlled
Funny thing about ammo restriction is that they do not restrict powder, primer and bullet purchase

And you don't think those items aren't already on some groups list for "regulating and banning" by some DEMOCRAT organization?

Probably, but why restrict ammo then if you leave the door open to make as much as you want?... While you can

Edit: I made more 9mm ammo when I started reloading than I'll ever shoot/need for the rest of my life, if they were to restrict ammo here it would be a sad thing but it wouldn't affect me one bit. and btw I keep reloading the ones I shoot and buying components like many here, and what I have would probably make a few members laugh, a bit like comparing my guns to Popeye's arsenal lol.

My point is see it coming and do something so you won't get caught with your pants down

One bite at a time kobs. if they tried to do it all at once it would be harder. Once the ammo part is done then the powder and primer will be next. They are explosives after all and it will be for the good of humanity! BTW here in NY the labor Dept(don't know why it's them) oversees powder at gun shops. it has to be stored a certain way which many places don't and everyone that buys some is supposed to put their name and address in a book which everyone doesn't enforce. But they do come around every so often and check out gun shops to make sure they have the proper wood cabinets and that's it's not stored in the open etc.
