Battle Glock 23 in .40 or a PX4 Storm .40 which to pick?

Ok basically I am stuck in a hard spot in choosing which to go with? Of course they will have to be .40 caliber no less. But I guess the Glock 23 Gen4 or the PX4 Storm? Or whatever Glock in .40 but have to stick to the following models. (17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32) What I am planning to do is make either one into a SBR.
Yes I plan on following all guidelines so before anyone tells me otherwise just want to make sure I let you guys know it’s going to be legit. But as for this I just want honest insight with both of these manufactures. Because I want to make a choice sooner than later so that I can get the ball on the road because I am looking about less than a Grand for all of this after it’s all said and done. And before any says SBR are not worth it and just go and get a black rifle or long arm, I already have a Rock River Arms Tactical Operator 2 all tac out which I will be uploading a profile picture of it soon.
I am looking for something to play around with and Yes I know I can get something cheaper by buying a .40 Rifle and don't need to worry about the Tax stamp etc. but unless there is some Horror stories on the RONI system I haven't heard about or seen any post on inform me so that I know!
    Thank you

The glock excellent weapon but for me I own 2 Steyr m 40 1st gens those two guns have never presented a mechanical problem. The ammo I`ve used has caused jamming. If I were looking for a 40 carry GLOCK

I'm not a big fan of glocks, the PX4 is a cool gun and from what I have read it seems like it would be easier to customize. What exactly is an SBR?

Yeah I have never shot either of these handguns only Smith&Wesson MP40 and H&K P2000. But well a SBR is a Short Barreled Rifle. The make a kit that changes your handgun into a SBR but you will have to make that handgun a class III weapon. Check out this website [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or just google RONI pistol carbine kit. Why are you not a fan of the GLOCKS? Certain reason, looks, durability, or longevity?

I can't really complain about their performance, just like any gun if they are propperly maintained then they will shoot what they are pointed at and, while I haven't seen a well used glock, I am sure that of you take care of them then they will last. Looks do play a role with them because I personally think they are ugly as sin, but my biggest issue with them is that the sights are a bit cumbersome and difficult for me to use (although I suppose that depends on the shooter) I'm also not too fond of synthetic frames. I read somewhere that one of the models (I can't remember which one) had a top eject system and it seems to me that such a system would get in the way of aiming.

At my Local gun shop here for LEO's they offer a discount on the Glock firearm’s so I think that I will be going that route just because I need to make it into a Class three pistol!!!! But unless I get a hell of a deal on a used PX4 Storm I might just go with that one. Oh and I found out that they spare parts and different kind of MODS that the Glock has are more in abundance compared to the Beretta. So I don’t know I have to do more looking around but I do like the fact that the Beretta is Italian made. Right?

Yeah you would probably be better off with the cheaper of the two options since you are modifying them. I haven't really looked too much into glock vs. px4 in terms of customization I've just seen and read about more diferent versions of the PX4 but then again most of them just had parts attached to a piccatiny which you can put on just about anything if you have the right parts.
