Default I was never a "Glock Guy".

And I suppose I'm still not. If you were to ask, aesthetically I like watches and knives much more. But from a purely practical point of view, I needed something that will work for protecting my family and myself.

I think the Glock 19X can be that utilitarian object. This one happens to be a "Blue Label" specimen. (And I've seen no evidence that it is any different, excepting an extra mag. Open to info if you have it.)

Anyway, it was a good day.

So is there any tangible mechanical difference?

    LOL

The store insists they're different, even after I'd paid.

    Oh Well. Still happy.

Also, how crazy is California that it's showing up on warning labels?

The store is full of feces. There is absolutely no difference between a 'Blue Label' Glock and any other same model Glock. Depending on the state where purchased, there may be a difference in magazine capacity. Depending on the selling FFL, there may be a difference in the number of included magazines. Oh yeah, the label on the box is blue instead of white.

Blue Label Glocks are available to participating retailers at a reduced cost. The inclusion of veterans to the authorized purchaser list is a new, and a limited, part of the program.

I think all or most factory glocks come with 3 mags now and have for at least several years.

Glock is a very handy gun, even if it is ugly.
