Default Older bushnell banner scope with range finder.

I got an older scope from my neighbor with a range finder on the front that you turn. If i zero it at 100 yards and set the front at 100 yards. Then if i shoot at something at 200 yards and set the finder at 200 yards. Does that mean it's supposed to be at zero at 200 yards or close to it? It's a 4x12x40 model NO.N484879 And yes i tried google.

Its not a range finder. Its supposed to be paralax adjustment. They didn't work very well when they were new. I don't imagine the passage of time has made them any better.

I'm not a fan of Bushnell Banner scopes.
