Please just don't be a scrooge when it comes to buying ammunition. Buy lots, and practice often. Enjoy.

I've been trying to decide what I think. So far I don't think much.

I won't be as gracious as some others may be. Carrying a gun is serious business. It doesn't do much good if you don't have access to it. In some cases it may get you killed. Your behavior with a gun may be different then if you didn't have one. I'd much rather hurt your feelings then you going around with a false sense of security.

You have a hammer to snag so shooting it from the bag may not be the best idea. To reliably remove it you need two hands. I have unbagged many items from bags like that and sometimes it takes a little maneuvering to get it out. Unless you bob your hammer and make other adjustments I don't see you drawing it quickly or reliably.

You get a A+ for originality, however your revolver doesn't have a safety, other than the weight of the trigger pull. Even though it's wrapped in bubble wrap, the trigger is not protected and if you wiggle the wrong way while sitting you could hear a loud "BANG" and end up having a painful hole in your backside.

As others have stated, you need a holster ...... one that protects the trigger from unintentional movement.

This whole thread is ridiculous. Barry Rickert - buy a proper holster, not doing so puts you and others at risk. So, go shopping. Do it today. Carry as you should, as God and Popeye intended. And lets not have any more foolishness. Don't make me come over there. Move on.
