    Default Homemade Pocket Holster

I made a pocket holster for my Ruger LCP. It works so well, I thought I'd share it with everyone. I made a you tube video on how to make it. I had some scrap leather and a sewing awl and went to work on it. turned out great.

I know that they removed the link per forum rules, but can you post a picture? or give us a verbal discription that would paint the picture? I am always on the lookout for new holsters. I have several plastic boxes full of holsters. I am a big fan of Mitch Rosen.

I would like to see a picture as well.

Do you need help posting a picture?

I'll do what I can. I belong to a lot of forums, and this is the first time I've had a shared you tube link get dropped. Apparently, I have to have a minimum of 15 posts before I can share a link. Missed that weird rule I guess..... anyways.......
I'll try to drop a picture of it..... hopefully the picture will not get dropped.

If you type in "Rocky Fork Yacht Club Channel" in the you tube search, you can find my video on how to make it. I also have a bunch of field stripping videos that you might enjoy.

The thought be hind that rule is that we don't want our members taken off site to where they might pick up a virus or something. The 15 post rule is so that you can establish yourself as a reliable, trustworthy, participating source. We have several people per day that come on here and immediately start posting links to various places for whatever reason they have. We consider that spam and it can be dangerous.

That's why I sent you the PM with instructions on how to embed your youtube video in your post and also created the tutorial that I told you about in another PM.

We can't speak for the behaviour of other forums or what they do or don't do to protect the members from internet dangers. Only this one

Not too bad. Looks like it should work just fine. Have you tried wet molding? It helps get a better fit and profile.

Yep. Soak the top(or front) piece of the leather for 5-10 min in hot water. You can then easily press form the leather to the profile of the gun. An even easier method is to use a food vacuum sealer.

Here's a couple I'm working on, made like that ...
