    Default Been considering Appendix Carry

So I've been considering Appendix carry.. Found this article about it and it makes sense to me, especially the safety tips. Curious others thoughts and if theres anything you'd add to this that the article doesn't say about appendix carry.. pros and cons.. and definitely safety stuff. I like the tip on saying this can kill me...

Its an inherently dangerous way to carry a handgun.

Not trying to be a troll, but my giblets are worth way more than a little more concealment... Show the people the rifle, not the gun jaja

If you’re carrying a little more gut than you should it could be very uncomfortable in a sitting position like driving.

My gut's just big enough to make it an uncomfortable way to carry, particularly when sitting.

And I don't want the muzzle of any gun, including my own, to be pointed anywhere near my family jewels or my femoral artery.

I'm healthy at 73, and I have that paunch. My doc told my I'm not 14 anymore and to just let it ride.

For me, everything is wrong with appendix carry. I have a tiny BG380 that points to precisely the parts you mention, violating the rule, "Don't point your gun at anything you're not willing to destroy." Also, appendix is VERY uncomfortable.

Hell, I use the rear-facing camera on my iPhone to see if I'm wearing a belt.

I always thought that SMB was best. (Small of back) Burt Reynolds had a great holster in one of his movies, I don’t remember which one. It was a SMB with the pistol butt facing down. Like a left handed, negative cant holster. I haven’t seen one like it.
