    Default Remington Shurshot kleanbore question

I found this paper cased Remington Shurshot Kleanbore shell when hunting. The top is marked REM-UMC No 12 SHURSHOT and the side just says SHURSHOT KLEANBORE, The bottom, inside the lip says 3 1/4 DRAMS 1 1/8 OZ EQUIV. I havent been able to find anything on the shell online other than antique boxes. It is an unspent shell and i thought it looked interesting, just wanted a little bit of info about it. Any clues would be appreciated.

It is an old and collectable shell. Remington's famous Kleanbore line of shotshells was introduced in 1926. Remington introduced plastic shotshells (instead of paper) in 1960.

Out of curiousity is there any way to date the shell that you know of? What is something like this worth? A couple bucks?

If only I had saved all the ammo and boxes over the past 50 odd years instead of shooting it, I would be a rich man now!

The answer to those questions will have to come from someone more knowledgeable than I.
