    The pistol came today.

    Roy, I got the felt wads a few days ago. Thank you very much.

    I just need to pick up some caps and balls and I'll give it a try.

    Just from preliminary handling it seems like it's going to be somewhat of a knuckle buster. I'm very used to handling SAA type pistols. This one doesn't have as large a grip. It's going to take some getting used to.

    I know what you mean about the knuckle buster. I was blessed/cursed with a size XLarge hand. Shooting my Walker Colt with a full charge conviniced me it and I did not need that much powder to be happy.

    It probably won't be as bad as you think on your knuckles just because they lack a lot of recoil. It's not like shooting a .357 or something bigger. Will probably feel more like a .38
