    Last time I did the post shooting cleaning I stuck a wire in there and really worked it around. I hope it makes a difference. I would also like to try a different powder like this product that is supposed to burn better. Pyrodex came out when muzzleloaders became popular and is now “ old technology “.

    Im going to be in the area where my one lgs who carries alliant powder is, Im going to see if he has the new stuff. I'll get some if he does. I been wanting to get the smoke pole out. I need to check the scope. Last year last day i discharged it into a dead tree and missed.

    Agreed Swiss is the best if you're doing some serious target or competition work. For most other shooting GOEX works fine.
