The stupid move on them dropping some ammo. Seams to be making a shortage on 22lr even. I been striking out on my traditional box of winchester 555 ammo. They also upped there price on thunder bolts. Bulk pack. I get them for when i take folks out who don't normally shoot. I'll be glad when folks come to realize 22 is not effected by the new policy.
I would recommend shopping at Cabela's for .22 ammo. Cabela's price gouges on the guns but they do have good ammo prices. I've stopped shopping at Walmart ever since they implemented their new stupid gun policies.
I once got a new gun at Cabela's, a Ruger Redhawk .454 Casull to be exact. Do you know how much I paid for it? Nothing, nada, zero, zip, zilch, at least in terms of dollars and cents.
For me it depends on the neighborhood. Ones located near nice subdivisions are clean, well-stocked and well staffed. One located near Da Hood are pig sties. Where else can you go and buy some ammo, a gun, beer, wine, liquor, groceries and some clothing all at once?
I been to cabela's in Hamburg many times. Usually stop there on the way to my parents.
