    Default Shotgun finally updated

And I didnt break a nail, I paid good money for these lol

So I broke down and got the 20" barrel and mag tube for my Mossberg. Thanks to @gunzilla for the good advice, removing the mag tube was pretty easy by just heating it on my stove for a few minutes to kill the loctite and a quick wipe of the threads with a paper towel. The rest came all back together with no problem, tested the tube to make sure it holds the full rounds and they all cycled, doesnt seem like i may need any loctite but i may pick some up just in case. Got my light/bayonet mount on, everything is solid and freakin beautiful. Now to think I may call it Jayne lol I think its something he would use

    since the
Now I have bunch of spare parts layin around, damn near enough for a whole other shotgun. the barrel and tube came with the heatshield along with a plain pistol grip and a forend so I have two, the one that came with the shotgun and the one i bought. Thinking about looking into making a second shotgun from all these parts. Anyone know where I can get a fresh receiver, complete or part by part?

Nice to see everything worked out , the end result looks good
Better to have it and not need it , than to need it and not have it

thanks. only thing im not crazy about is the powder finish, whatever its called, it seems more susceptible to scratching and the like, where as the original barrel had a smooth shiny finish like the receiver. i there a way to have the barrel refinished?

Properly applied powder coat is historically , tougher than most finishes.
