Lugerman, there is a bright yellow button on right top says "Click For Rates" brings up form that allows user to put in check marks of what they want to ask or info to receive from owner/administrator. Just passing this along thru conversation, but I would wait to hear from owner/admin unless you plan on really posting a lot more ads than you have so far, all this my opinion of course. I think (and thats how I get into trouble ) that an initial posting usually slides by from most, but follow up active pitching is what the member was noticing..? Anyway, I still would love to have an accurate made .45 Luger so good luck.

We have quite a few Gun Related Businesses that are paid Sponsors. There is even a section in the forum for our paying Sponsors to place ads. I, or anyone here, wants to push a Gun Enthusiast away from our group. My comment was by no means an attack against you or your company. Just trying to be fair to those who pay to advertise their products and services. Their payment is what keeps us going.

The very rare original 2 or 3 45acp '08 German Lugers that were ever made, are indeed very close to $1mil pistols.

I have wanted to own a real WW2 era 9m for a LONG time, and stated so in an active thread about them several weeks back....and wondered why no one was building a clone for today's market. And was advised that they have 'too many' operating parts, and that all of the originals were hand fitted... The parts often would not even interchange from one to another.... etc.

I looked at some that were suggested to me, and they are for sure not clones...One model even had an added grip safety, the other(s) looked somewhat like a Luger, but were just not right in many ways...to include available calibers.

I just could not understand why with today's CNC machining availability, that a decent clone could not be built.... Apparently Mr Lugerman & Co., proved me right....And it's even available in the venerable .45acp cal, which makes it even more appealing to me!....

Now I just need to call around and find an affordable mortgage on my property, so I can put my order in.... I haven't been to the website yet, but I can guess these are going to be VERY expensive.... But who knows...maybe the FL Redneck Retirement Fund might come in for me, and I can order a few.... Yeah....That could happen!

Thank you for the kind words ! This project is many years in the making. A Lot of blood sweat and tears went into it, but we DID get it done, and the outcome is very very impressive.
As far as the pricing, it is very reasonably priced, and it is also not a secret whatsoever - we are asking for $4,995.00 per unit.
Couple things to keep in mind; we do have couple payment options, payment plans, etc..., so you dont have to pay the whole thing in one shot.
also - these pieces are fully customazable. We can make anything from a baby luger to a target practice gun.

Please fell free to ask any questions, i would love to chat with anyone interested in this piece of history.

Ouch!! Thanks Artie...about what I had figured.... Ya saved me a trip to the website just to look at what I can not afford to own.... I do after all, KNOW what they look like...But who knows, maybe if they really take off, and sales go well for them, they may someday become more reachable...

Still sending kudos to the folks who made seeing my wants and wishes become a reality, if even only for now, well healed folks.

Just so you know we have a payment plan option... you can do 10 small payments of $500 a month, and by the time you are done paying, the gun will be ready for you

'preciate it Sir...however it just isn't in my near future at this time..... I've also wanted a Sharps Creedmore for many years....and I've passed on that one, and it's 'only' in the $2k area. I have great taste and a pretty good knowledge in firearms, but a meager income and not much room for the expensive ones I only wish I could own.

But much good luck, and hopes sent for success in your bringing back to life, a great and historical military pistol. Ya done good!!

The [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] sure looks interesting. Any chance you'll be making those carbines 'from scratch' at some point?

I am happy to see that gun in .45 for a reasonable price and hope the project will be a success!

As far as I know DWM made 5 Lugers for testing in 1907 for the US Army, a gunsmith called Nedbal built a small number of .45 Lugers in the late 90s only 20 minutes aways from my village. Werle still produces them, but the last one I saw at an auction cost around 10k Euro.
