    Talking Ammo becoming available?

Maybe it's only my imagination, but In Sunday's paper I saw more than 1 ad for 9mm rounds and also marikov 9mm. Is this only happening out here in the wooly (maybe soon no license for concealed carry!) west, or is it finally loosening up elsewhere??

It's not your imagination, ammunition is starting to become more available. (Firearms and Ammo sales are the one sector of our economy that President Obama is doing wonders for).

We went target shooting at Top Gun this morning (Arnold, Missouri) and there were ammos but the guys behind the counters said they only sell the ammos to those that will use the range. We have enough ammos so we were OK and we were going home when we saw them anyway...Maybe a trip to Cabela's should be in order to see what they have...

    nb,

My local Wal-mart's ammo shelves are beginning to fill-up - They've been almost empty for 6 months. I picked-up 3 boxes of Rem CLs (270) for $17.97 a box this week.

Cabela's had just about everything today. Several different .380 stuff. The shelves were nearly full and they were still putting more out.

No problem finding 9 mm luger here or even .38, .357 or 45 acp. Now not a single box of .380 at all in my area which makes me glad I went for the 9mm 9x19. Oh and .22LR, shot gun shells are the only thing in the Walmarts here also. I've never been able to buy a 9mm from Walmart. I do have a Dick's as close as Wally World and they always seem to have a couple of different 9mm brands in stock.

Since this ammunition "shortage" began we at the shop have been out of .380 ammunition for a total of three weeks and out of .38 Special for a total of one week. We were also out of military surplus .30-06 for three months. That's it.

We have never had limits on ammunition sales. Well, the size of your truck could be considered a limit. Prices have risen, considerably, but we have had ammunition available. Suppliers call us when they have ammunition for sale. We pay our bills early.
