Default Is it bad to be a Glockaholic?

I just got my third Glock yesterday and I really like it. I am sure there are more in my future. I might be approaching Glockaholic status soon. Is that a bad thing? As long as I don't buy into the whole "Perfection" thing and acknowledge the shortcomings, however few, of the design, it shouldn't be a bad thing, right?
As far as I can tell from reading a lot of posts, the major complaint is just the grip. I understand that completely, however it is growing on me to the point I am beginning to like it. At least a little! There are never any complaints about combat accuracy or durability or reliability.
There are some who don't prefer the operating system of a Glock. That's fine. To each his own and I totally understand those points of view. I like it and the opinions on the operating system are not knocks against the gun itself. A lot of people don't like a single action auto like the 1911, but that is not a reflection on the gun, just the users preferred action type.

I still like A LOT of other guns too. But I may start getting closer to being labeled a Glock guy and I am wondering if that is a bad thing. LOL

Because I'm a newbie, I don't have a favorite yet. I like them all, and yet I feel deprived because I don't have one I'm passionate about. Some day...

I purchased my 6th Glock a while back. I really like the total reliability of them. Easy to field strip and clean, and will run no matter what. Personally, I can't think of a better self defense handgun. Bill T.

I hope it wasn't another 10MM, or we'll have to hear about you having a hard time finding ammo again.

Just busting your ba!!$ there BW. Seriously, you should be spending you money on reloading eqp.

He could teach Lil Weatherby to help with the reloading

Naw BW I don't think yer a Glockaholic until you have all three sizes in a given caliber. Fullsize, Compact, & Sub-compact

I really do need to begin reloading. I have 34 more days of working two jobs. After that I will have more time.

I have stocked up on 10mm ammo, by the way. LOL. Another 10 will be coming home fairly soon...

I do have three sizes of Glocks now, but they are all different calibers. But who knows, I might wind up with multipes eventually.

I'm not a Glock Guy to begin with, and I'm sure it's okay if you are, but I wouldn't go all plastic. I have one Glock type of gun (Sigma) and it's probably the least desirable gun for me to handle. I don't doubt that from a business stand point that it will do the job, but I must say that it is the last one that I think about when it comes down to choosing a fun gun to take to the range. I also don't see a big advantage in the lesser weight of polymer guns. I never had a problem carrying traditional steel handguns. I prefer the crisp hard clicking and clacking of all steel handguns (except for the grips of course). Just don't write off metal guns for the fun stuff and also for doing the regular everyday handgun tasks. They're still real good at what they do, like the old K frame revolver, Beretta 92 and 96, and the good old 1911 ACP. I'm sure that Glocks and similar are the beginning of the next generation of handguns. But how will they be after more than 100 years? I guess we'll know in about 80 or 85 years how they hold up. I don't doubt that they'll do well. Keep a good mix IMO!

Hey "Bigglockerby", I really like the Glock 23 I have. The thing I did was grab a Lone Wolf barrel for the support and rifling. It also helped the accuracy. I will by a Glock again, just haven't decided which one I want next. The wife wants a Sig, so that will probably come first. There is nothing wrong with them, I would rather shoot mine than listen to people that talk them down.
