    Default Conical-Nose Lead Ammunition, HELP!

I am thinking of getting some Conical-Nose Lead Ammunition[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Anyone use this before? I have a S&W 4006 and want to make sure this stuff is OK to use. It is cheaper than the FMJ rounds, and I like that. Any advice? I could not find anything about Conical-Nose Lead Ammunition online.

the pictured bullets are plated not bare lead. I have used plated cast lead bullets for over 15 years with great success.

Ok, but I am not sure about going by the picture. It is the exact same one they use for the FMJ... Is there a difference between plated cast lead and FMJ? I am not sure what makes the price so much cheaper for the Conical-Nose Lead over the FMJ.

I have used some 200 grainers with that profile before, not in 40, but 10mm, they worked fine.

The picture is generic, the item they are selling ARE lead bullets, NOT plated. Those shoot in my Glock 40 fine, but not in my Sig 220 45, every gun likes different ammo, and sometimes different bullets.

You aren't supposed to shoot lead in a Glock are you?

Not unless you use an aftermarket barrel.

Hmmm, they are backordered 3-4 weeks. Do you think I should get 600 rounds now, or just 300 to try them out? I don't want to waste money, but I also want to be sure I get ammo! I suppose if they don't work I could just sell them at a gun show (that is legal in Texas, right?). Do you think it would be worth it to spend the extra $40 and get 600 FMJ rounds?
