Default wards western field model 85

hello, i picked up this little rifle not to long ago, and after a little research i am stumped. im just looking for a little information on this rifle. the rifle i am talking about is a wards western field model 85. fires both .22 and .22lr in semi auto or bolt action. i have put about 200 rounds through it so far with out any problems. here are a couple of pictures of the rifle [Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ][Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

only this i have added was a scope i picked up from walmart. i am also looking to find a magazine that will work with this rile. any info on the rifle would be great. or any suggestions on what i should do with it haha.

That rifle is a Stevens Model 85. It may be branded Western Field but it was made by Stevens

I have a Stevens 85A been in the family forever, I ended up with it as my nephews, lost the mag,and gummed it up by not cleaning it .Two old cousins had it before me,but at grannys house she controlled the cleaning and maitenance requirements with a fine toothed comb, she inspected it coming in and going out
I can push knob in for single shot,or pull knob out for a semi auto function. Most reliable gun I have ever seen.its onl seen hoppes #9 and 3 in 1household oil.
I picked up a new mag quite a few years ago fron Numrich, completely cleaned .It is like new.
As a kid in the 60s I took, partridge, pheasant,,rabbit, squirrel, ducks, geese,bu ll frog, raccoons, pocupines, woodchuck, fox, sand sharks.just about everything but deer size or bigger we used the old winchester 30-30.
Put lots of food on the table.
I only target shoot with it now,but it will out shoot my ruger 10-22,marling 60,
etc etc.Probably because ive been shooting it since i was 8 and am about 60 now.
