I have had my eye on one of these for quite some time so when I found the combo (22LR & 22 mag) for under $175.00 out the door locally I purchased it. Mine Is blued with the cocobolo grips and it is the 6 shot model. It also comes with a safety (transfer bar) that can be thumbed to the fire position with ease.
The trigger comes in at a respectable 4 1/2 pounds and has a nice clean break and who doesn't love those 4 separate clicks as you pull the hammer back. I could sit here all day just doing that and saying "you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?"
I decided on the 4 1/2 inch barrel for the cool factor also the 6 inch just felt a little "barrel" heavy to me. It shoots very nice and points like its part of my arm. With the short barrel it just feels right.
Could I have gotten it cheaper? Maybe. But when I held it in my hand it just felt like it was made for me and it was love at first sight with those handsome grips.
If you are looking for an inexpensive Colt 6 shooter replica I don't think you can go wrong with this gun.

Anyone else have one of these? If so, care to share your thoughts on it?

i actually have a Heritage on layaway......so i will report back on it in a month or less.....

mine will be a short barrel birds head grip with dual cylinders. It is.....or was....going to replace my Ruger MKIII as a truck gun.....simply because i want to shoot 22 mag and especially rat shot for special occasions....

that is if i can keep the wife away from it. She was with me at the time i put money down and she has already named it "Huckleberry"......so i know i am in trouble when SHE starts naming guns..... heck, she was more excited than i was.

but one must keep the wife happy...........:aureola:

Well for the price you could just buy two! LOL!
This is just a fun gun to operate and shoot. The contrast to Semi of just squeezing the trigger helped me to decide on buying one. I wanted to hold out for the 9 shot version but I bought the Arminius 8 shot from my cuz and decided to go ahead with the 6 shot.
There is just something about the whole process of loading, thumb cocking and using a plunger to eject the spent shells that makes me what to wear a Cowboy hat when I do it. It will never be a PC gun for me because of the long loading and unloading process. But the 4 clicks that the hammer makes when you pull it back is something everyone should experience at least once.
The reviews that I read about this dandy little revolver were all good, heck even Hickok 45 gave it a good review.

We sold Heritage revolvers at the shop. I've handled them. I've shot them. I've had them apart. I don't own one.

Remember, when it comes to firearms, you get what you pay for, usually.
