Default Is Maxxtech .22lr any good?

So I went to a local flea market/auction place today. They sell pretty much everything including guns and ammo one of the tables was loaded with boxes of ammo in all different sizes I think they were all Maxxtech. I am not an expert on prices by any means but $20/per 250 round box for 22lr seemed pretty cheap to me. I had already used all of the 50 box of federal I bought at walmart for target practice so I bought 3 boxes of them.

I haven't had a chance to test them yet but I am going to tomorrow. Anybody know anything about these?

Never saw those. I use Remington golden bullets. Box of 525 is around 30.00.

Tell us how good/bad they are.
The difference between a Socialist and a Communist is that the Socialist doesn't have all the guns yet.

Just stepped out the back door and tested some of them on some water filled cans. (Luckily a luxury I have given Iive out in the middle of nowhere.)

It fires just as well and is just as accurate as the federal I was using at least in my single action revolver. Though I quickly realized its leaving a black sooty substance all over the gun and chambers. Even after only about two dozen rounds I think I am going to have to clean it. Did they put black powder in these things or something? The tin can says it was made in Bosnia.

I guess I can recommend these if you don't mind the soot.

22 ammo is dirty. Some more than others.

I just shot the last of a 1000 case of the Maxxtech 9mm Pretty happy with how it performed. Passes the eyeball test as pretty well made. Possibly a bit "dirtier" than some but hard to tell for sure. I would buy more.

I have gone through about 100 of these so far. No misfires but one slightly deformed shell that I threw away because it didn't look safe to fire.
