Default Value of Ruger .41 Mag?

I bought a Ruger .41 Mag w/ 4" barrel last week along w/ 2 other guns from a friend of mine thats having financial problems. I know what the other 2 guns are worth but no idea on the 41 Mag. I went to Rugers site to check the serial # it was made in 1966. The hammer has very light rust. It's also tapped for a scope. Shoots fine, kicks like a mule but a straight shooter.

    Thanks, John

Old Model Blackhawks in 41 Mag, 30 Carbine, etc. are hard to price. There are usually people out there that will pay more than book price for them. Depending on condition, it can run from $250 - $500, more to the right buyer.

The "old" model blackhawk has 3 frame screws, and no transfer bar safety. If you old model has a transfer bar, then it was "upgraded" by Ruger, and is less wanted by collectors.

For a 80% or better old model in 41 mag, I would pay from $400 - $600, but that short barrel is not appealing to me.

It's got a 3 screw frame above the trigger but it does have a transfer bar. :(
Yea, it's got a bark. I'll have to try shooting it at night, Lol to see the flame thrower effect.

I thought the old single action rugers were a two screw configuration, with the newer models being the 3 screw?
    When is spring coming?
