Default On The Verge Of Treason: US Spies Withhold Intelligence From Trump

    Feb 15, 2017

Following President Trump's exclamations today with regard "un-American" leaks of classified intel, it appears he has a bigger, much more serious problem on his hands. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]that US intel officials have withheld information from President Trump due to concerns it could be leaked or compromised.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] citing unidentified current and former officials familiar with the matter, reports that officials’ decision to keep information from Mr. Trump underscores the deep mistrust that has developed between the intelligence community and the president over his team’s contacts with the Russian government, as well as the enmity he has shown toward U.S. spy agencies. On Wednesday, Mr. Trump accused the agencies of leaking information to undermine him.

In some of these cases of withheld information, officials have decided not to show Mr. Trump the sources and methods that the intelligence agencies use to collect information, the current and former officials said. Those sources and methods could include, for instance, the means that an agency uses to spy on a foreign government.

The officials emphasized they know of no instance in which crucial information about security threats or potential plotting has been omitted.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.), the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said he has heard concerns from officials about sharing especially sensitive information with Mr. Trump.

“I’ve talked with people in the intelligence community that do have concerns about the White House, about the president, and I think those concerns take a number of forms,” Mr. Schiff said, without confirming any specific incidents.

“What the intelligence community considers their most sacred obligation is to protect the very best intelligence and to protect the people that are producing it.”

    So, why are they worried?

The current and former officials said the decision to avoid revealing sources and methods with Mr. Trump stems in large part from the president’s repeated expressions of admiration for Russian President Vladimir Putin and his call, during the presidential campaign for Russia to continue hacking the emails of his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

Making it very clear that the escalating distrust between the intelligence community and The White House will lead to a vicious circle of less information-sharing and implicitly more distrust until President Trump moves from tweet-castigation to treason charges... or the intelligence community breaks into full mutiny [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

A White House official said: “There is nothing that leads us to believe that this is an accurate account of what is actually happening.”

Notice the micro aggression of referring to President Trump as Mr. Trump.
It's all on the down scale, attacking President Trump.

Who are the kidding? Colin Powell said in his book. The Russian spies are so good. They knew about a top secret project we had that he didn't know about. He found out from us spying on the Russians. Who are they kidding?

We didn't vote for these people in Intelligence. We voted for Trump.

EDIT: Also another thing on security. It is usual. When something is top secret. Nobody outside the immediate circle is to know about it. Nobody. They may be trying to make something out of nothing with the use of this practice. .... One example... They had a heck of a time when developing the atomic bomb. Intelligence didn't want the scientists/physicists communicating with each other. It's outside intelligence security practices. The scientists/physicists had to communicate with each other. That's how they work.

In other words, it's all liberal BS to discredit President Trump. Dumborat Schiff may have "heard" it, but my 2¢ says he "heard" it from a DNC member and not anyone from the intelligence community.

He (POTUS) needs to hold meetings in private at various entities involved in this and have groups ushered in till they have all heard him and signed off on his words. Under National security laws, any found to leak or withhold info from the chain of command will be prosecuted. This is not a threat to stop whistle blowers from reporting concerns, but there are paths set up to report such concerns, and such paths do not lead to MSM.

The WSJ headline doesn't match the text, there was no point in writing the article in the first place.

The officials emphasized they know of no instance in which crucial information about security threats or potential plotting has been omitted.

The leaks are treasonous, and those responsible should be found, tried, and punished, period, absolutely disgraceful.

    "........ and punished,........"

Government employees punished? What, exactly, is that? Let me call Holder, Loretta Lynch or Lois Lerner. Maybe they can give me a clue.

Khrushchev's prediction is slowly coming true

“We will take America without firing a shot ... we will bury you!
“We can’t expect the American people to jump from capitalism to communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have communism.
“We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.”

The traditional American philosophy teaches that government must be limited in power if Individual Liberty is to be safeguarded, if each Individual's God-given, unalienable rights are to be made and kept enduringly secure
