    Default New guy

Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself before I start posting, though I will most likely be more of a lurker. I have used exdrinker for many years in many different online situations but it was from an add campaign by Special Export beer, i.e. EX model, EX librarian, EX "insert whatever", not from not drinking. It was my favorite beer and I wasn't very original. Now I actually don't drink too much so am more of a real "ex drinker".

That said, I recently got a job in the ammunition industry in Minnesota which sparked an interest in guns, gun laws, ammunition, etc. I purchased a Baretta PX4- .40 cal and am licensed to carry it here and soon in other states as well. I have been doing some reading online and ended up here.

    Welcome from Northern Virginia.

Sounds like you've got a swell job there.

I gave up drinking about 17 years ago, it serves as great rationalization to put my beer money towards more guns!!!

BTW-.40 is my favorite caliber, just enough bite in the hand.

Yeah, I like the new job. I started in March making .40 s&w casings which greatly influenced my first purchase. Now I assemble centerfire primers. I like the idea of spending my old beer money on guns but I already seem to be spending it elsewhere.

I am from NE Minneapolis but have been going to Brainerd my whole life. My grandparents lived one block from us and had a cabin near Brainerd which they eventually built into a retirement home. Now that they are gone my brother owns it and we all still go up there. It is a great part of the country, in the Summer anyway.
