Hey guys. I'm going to buy a 22 6-round revolver soon and I can't seem to find any ammo for it. Walmart is always out of stock. budsgunshop.com is out of stock. Where can I buy some? Thank you.
Ask your closest gun dealer when he gets his shipment in. Then camp out on his doorstep the night before. My dealer gets a shipment in on Thursdays and limits buyers to three 50 rd boxes. He won't hold them for me but usually calls when they are in. BTW, welcome to the forum, and good luck with your new purchase.

Many of the gun shops here in Indiana keep reserve ammo in back for people who buy a firearm so they have something to shoot. Ask wherever you are going to purchase the gun from, if they have ammo for gun buyers.
Wal-Mart likes to stock ammunition at around 06:00 to 08:00 and from 23:00 to 01:00 from my experience. Early bird gets the worm! Or bird who's up too late at a friend's house...
For the poor slob that works 8-5 every day and thinks he'll grab a box of 100 from wallyworld on his way home from church on sunday, well good luck with that. You need to do a little detective work, find your leads and work them. For me, auctions, gun sales, a couple LGS that know I will give them my business. That has all worked out very well for me and will until this blows over.
